Storyboard and Background of Test Animation Project

Yo 👋... It's been almost 4 weeks since I posted my last blog on an ongoing toon boom project. The reason was that there was barely any progress, also I posted the 360-degree turnaround animation 😒. And spent the rest of the time in the background. Sorry, I'm working really slow.

Talking about the background before that I created a small storyboard for a short animation test, also a rough sketch of how my character will look in the scene 👀. Don't mind the size ratio that's something I need to work on after this project. Also, I rarely did background artwork, so I have to learn properly to understand shapes, scene composition, and color combination (for the tone/mood of the scene). There are a lot of artists (some I follow) who work on backgrounds, posting regularly about their background painting practices like, so looking at that gives kind of inspiration to learn background work (I will) but before that have to learn animation too 🤦‍♂️.

Check out this above video, the rig is almost complete just need to add a sole under shoes and then out in the scene.

Also, there's a BUT 🤷‍♂️, I mean I'm having a headache 🫤, I mean did you ever feel like your surrounding is totally fucked up and its kind of some irritating voices 😶. I don't know what that is or I'm just blaming anything for being slow at my work, I just don't know. There's like running time and a point (or turn) in time before I have to do something special to reach somewhere but also I don't want to totally burn down my brain (had once) for which I watch movies/series to temporarily escape from reality 😞.

Let me know in the comments, how it feels when you have a goal (dream) to reach but you're getting stretched between your present and future expectations 😵‍💫. And I'm also fucked up with the question of why some people get the freedom that others can't, and why me 🤐.

Well, apart from that I need a break from this toon boom project, just a few days. I'm thinking of creating a character poster/wallpaper, either it will be of Yuji Itadori & Sukuna (from Jujutsu Kaisen Anime) or Loki & Sylvie ( Marvel's Loki series), as both of them are exceptionally amazing shows. I'll post a poll on Instagram, check it out there.
